At this moment we have a gta 4 EFLC server. With all the EFLC content. We can however make the server like the Sandbox server so it supports players that only own gta4 (and EFLC). The negative is that all EFLC content will be gone, the positive is that we might have more players? People who own GTA4 and EFLC can join it. People that do not have EFLC but do have GTA4 can join.
All victories come inevitably at a cost. :gand:
If that happens I am gonna miss a lot of interiors and clubs and my cars..

Okay, here is my opinion.
I have a question, are we going to loose vehicle damage, V-Sync, improved stability/no crashes, fps increase, animations, scripts and all the other stuff that came with T4 (not eflc)?
The way I see it, is that we are gaining players after the economy update, certainly. Which is a thing I didn’t expect at all. But gaining more players on T3 is kinda a 50% chance which is also a high risk, imagine doing all that then player count stays the same..
I say if we could focus on updates/content, implementing mods, and advertisement we could prosper again on T4.
I didn’t vote yet, and probably not going to until I fully understand what is going to happen. If we can’t do mods then there is no extra content then I would prefer going back to T3, there is no need for extra content if we have 32+ players online daily because roleplaying would be actually fun and creativity will take over people minds so they can roleplay what they don’t have until we find a solution to get extra content on T3.
Edit: Or here is another plan, we could revert back to T3, establish a decent player base (50+ or 75+ players joining weekly at least) then we spread the word like ALOT and go back to T4 because of the nice content/improvements. Because I see we lost many players after we moved to T4, also gaining players has halted for a very long time but now we are recovering.

Let me see if I got this right. Our current server also provides support to the players that only have GTA IV. The only difference is that they may not see some EFLC buildings like Bahama Mamas and Massionate9, but they can still use the eflc cars with the LCC add-ons if I am right.
I am fine with moving to only GTA IV base but it will make us lose some pretty cool eflc stuff. Also, we can not be sure that it will boost the player base there’s a 50-50 chance that it may and it may not.
I am not sure if we should take this decision at the current state of the server, it has just started gaining more new players, and changing the server base might affect it in a positive or negative way.
At the end M neutral to both the ideas.

A month is way too short to see effective results of a steady influx of new players tho…
I don’t believe that it’s a good strategy to risk content with the small chance to get a higher player base, we can’t even be sure that GTA IV will be
that much better for attracting new players, in the end if someone was really interesting to join the server downloading EFLC wouldn’t be a problem.
To be fair I am not aware of what are the looses of moving to GTA IV, but if as I readed above is to loose Interior; and Vehicles; then it’s a big step
backward for me and I can’t support it. If someone could explain us what are exactly the EFLC contend and what we will loose I may change mind, till then unsupported
How are you planning to sync the map differences? EFLC map and GTA IV map are actually very different. This topic should be more like should we revert back to T3 because well it looks like some players actually like the idea.
Yes in this stage we need a custom map, which everyone needs to download before joining the server so they can see/touch stuff equally. I can’t imagine another solution.. It is a bad idea.
Actually reverting back to T3 is a good idea, yeah we loosing alot of content but we are gaining players. T3 was way more popular than T4. But unfortunately this is not the case here.. totally different..
Also we are totally going to loose all EFLC goods, look at it from a guy who only owns GTA IV perspective, he either has to download everything new or he wouldn’t see anything other than the original GTA IV content.
