I think what WOULD be possible, is to change the default existing fuel. Instead every car already having 100/100.. why dont we have 60/100? I personaly would preffere 30/100. Sounds a bit too low for some of us.. but this challange what would add that flavour to more realistic driving.. you would even have to plan, if you plan on going to 3rd city.. mb refuel at nearest gas station imediatly.. I think It would give a new meaning to fueling.. and I think someone would be willing to call a mechanic if streets would populate with empty cars.. Wait, i take that back, resets would fix it..
And maybe normalise the general consumtion aswell…

How about make the flooding “low fuel” message to be less… annoying?
And how about, if car has NO FUEL.. then dont let the car to move even a milimeter? Couse many just drive empty fueled cars little by little, till it gets pushed to gs.. But I believe its been already thouth by scripters, but I think the approach that could be possible, would be as soon as the car would get 0 fuel, make it as it would be kind-of like a “sales” car.. if u move it.. it resets to the possition where fuel was lost.
And get this.. 30/100 fuel.. You would think twice to run away from cops with that
